October 27, 2025
Opening:
The meeting was called to order by Jeffrey Dobbs at the Alcona EMS building on M72 at 7:03pm.

Business:
Chairman’s Welcome
Welcomed everyone to the meeting. Thanked everyone for all they did for the LRT dinner.
Elected Official Acknowledgments & Statements
Carrie stated that Mikado has a Public Hearing for Public to provide comments for strategic planning for demolishing the building that the brownfield grant they have. They will likely expand Bruce Park on F-30. The amount for the grant hasn’t been approved yet, due to pending inspections.
LRT Dinner Update
Dinner went great. Had tons of speakers. Caterer did amazing, got a $100 tip. Pricing for the Sunrise Center will be going up, so we got a huge deal for this event.
We have two expenditures that are pending for this event and two checks coming in that are still pending for this event. So financial numbers are close, but not final regarding this event.
Income:
$3667.77 in ticket sales.
$510 auction
$135 candy jar game of chance
Total income: $4312.77
Expenditures:
$1451.50 caterer
$300 venue
$340.16 ink reimbursement
Total expenses: $2091.66
Motion by Jess to reimburse Carrie for ink, seconded by Judy. No discussion.

Profit: $2546.21 (with pending two checks included) Best profit for the party since 2018. ($2221.11 without those checks.)
Carrie talked with Stephanie Eller and she mentioned that she was watching all the videos that Jess put on the YouTube channel and enjoying them.

Reports:
Treasurer’s Report:
ACRC (Working): $620.03 (savings), $3365.24 (checkings), with a $5 hold. Total of $3985.27 accessible in the working account.
ACR (Corporate): $420.05 checking, and $5 hold in share account. Accessible is the $420.05.
Jess motions to accept, Judy seconds. Discussion, none. Motion passes.

Jess moves to waive the next meeting with final numbers from LRT to be emailed out by Carrie. Nelson seconds the motion.

Good of the Order:
William asked about the progress of the AxMITax petition and if it was being extended into November. Jeff affirmed that it was being extended and that if anyone had signed in April of 2025, that they’ll need to sign again. It was mentioned too, that Trump is looking into abolishing property taxes Federally, nationwide.
